We started in rainy Portland and just after a few hours driving South(!) we ended up in winter!

Like a real winter! A winter we didn't have for many years already! And guess what, cars don't have winter tires here. Time to put those chains on!

Would be almost Lithuanian/Finnish winter landscapes if not the mountains in the background

And then it's gone! Suddenly snowy valleys turn into a desert!
